• Easy to install: Available as standard in 1.5m, 1.8m and 2.7m sections, which are combined to achieve required lengths. Other lengths are available as special orders. Fitted with mounting brackets located every 90 cm. 
• Easy to use: The release pin at the top of the ladder is pulled and the ladder unfolds to the ground. Key activated ground/top level locking can be chosen instead for secure ground/top level accessibility.
• Safe, secure and robust: Safety belt for ascending/ descending the ladder available. Ladder rungs are square aluminium tubes with an anti-slip step surface. If opened with key, no un-authorised access is possible. The security pin allows the ladder to be blocked once personnel has reached working height.
• The Modum access ladder is certified to BS EN 131-2:1993

This 1.5m long section for the above Modum fold-out ladders contains a handle which can be extended to allow the safe hold by the operator when climbing for example down a manhole or over a parapet.

• handle extends 55cm upwards from the outer leg of the ladder (20 cm higher than inner leg) to give better handhold while mounting/disembarking

Accessory: Ladder Safety Belt

This safety belt comes with a clip-on slider, which is clipped onto the outer leg of the Modum fold-out ladder. This slider follows the operator but will lock if the operator slips and falls.
